The Moroccan authorities have decided to put an end to the sanitary restrictions imposed at the borders to prevent the spread of Covid-19, announced Friday the National Airports Office (ONDA). This measure, which responds to a very clear improvement of the pandemic situation, is effective since Friday.
It should help to revive the tourist industry hard hit by two years of health crisis.

For nearly six months, travelers to Morocco had to present a vaccination passport or a negative PCR test result less than 72 hours old, a measure that has now been rendered obsolete.
According to the Ministry of Health, Covid-19 infections have dropped in recent weeks and the situation is now characterized by a very low spread of the virus throughout the kingdom.
